I think that's a very large fossil horse molar..
Here are a couple of mine for comparison.
These are at least 20,000 years old..probably a bit more.
Can you post a photo of the chewing surface please?

Looks like an incisor, not a molar.

There where no horses in the america's 20,000 years ago.

Yes there were.
They went extinct long before they were reintroduced from Europe.

They were here and their teeth are found in rivers and creeks in Southwest Georgia. I have several.

Nice finds. The point 2nd from the left on the blue background, is that a whole lance or is the base missing?

Thanks.

I can only mimic what 11kbp stated. That's enamel from mastodon molar.

Looks like an outer surface enamel fragment from a mastodon tooth similar to the one on the left.

Much thanks and gratitude to you all!! I guess if we didn't have eachother we wouldn't know Exactly what we find after we've dug it up. I can't believe I actually, finally found a mastodon something!!! I'm really quite surprised, are mastodon incisors very valuable.?

I'd like to see the other sides of this piece ... Great finds !!!

This brown one
