Yeah it is... I can't help but think of a dog biscuit everytime I see it. When you had that as your avatar pic next to your name that looks like biscuit it was even worse..LOL.

I had a really good year.. so I will just post a few.

Real nice finds

Gatorboy, I'd say it was a good year. That is a really nice Marion. What would you call the first point and what is the material?

It's raw agatized coral(not fire treated) and actually I have not been able to type that one. Thanks about the Marion.

These are my best in points all personal finds from Georgia. They are in a frame for safe keeping. And the other is quartz tools also in a frame and personal finds of mine. Just havent hit the mother load yet as far as points go.

Good going Rock. I know you've worked hard for those. You should take a road trip one weekend after doing some studying and checking out Google Earth.

Where would the road trip take me?

Just saying there's a lot of spots in Georgia.

I like this one for sure!

Trevmma,

Great Finds. What is the artifact in the first photo? I have only a couple hardstone artifacts. Here is a unfinished bannerstone from GA. I'm not sure what the second one is. I have heard cooking stone, boat anchor and pendant. What do you think?

hmm no clue but def looks to be a artifact, killer banner preform. the first one is a sandstone pipe

Is your second photo stone or pottery? I think Trevs first photo is a pipe "cloud blower" sorry he answered before me. Love that Paleo Trev.

I thought that it was soapstone, but it very well could be pottery.

Check these out.
