Some recent finds...2 rings in two days

1. Found my first .835 silver ring Sunday. I've read where this usually indicates European silver. The stones are fake, and I never found the center stone.

2. What appears to be a big 10k gold plated men's ring, although the "k" is not marked behind the 10 and most of the gold is worn off. I found this yesterday. It registered around a nickel on my silver umax.

3. A token that made my knees shiver at first. I was detecting a turn of the century lot around dusk and when I pulled this out of the ground all I could make out was the golden color and the stars at the top...thought I had a gold coin!! But it turned out to be a "no cash value" token.

4. A couple more tokens: one from the 2-bit arcade and a Nik-O-Lok bathroom token, plus a nice little button.

Not pictured are a few wheaties from the 50s and another Sac dollar.

Even tho the ring is damaged missing the main stone, it's still a great find! a jeweler can put a new one in. Also what in the world is a restroom token?

Thanks silverfreak! And relichunters, the token was made for bathroom locks made by the company Nik-O-Lok in Indianapolis. Apparently a business could make some additional income by selling these tokens to customers.

Hey Ant, next time pm me when you're in the area and if I'm able I'll go do some md'ing with you. Yeah, Banning is full of trash.

By the way, is the old housing project still giving up any items? Haven't been out there for a couple months if not more.
