My firsts...

1950 Ben Franklin
first silver quarter (1964)

Today's quotes....

"Oh you don't want that one, it's burnt..." - In reference to 64 Kennedy.
"Look at these really shiny new ones..." - In reference to 3 proofs (2 98's and 1 93)

Since "Knowing is half the battle," here is my AAR for my first trip...

Listen to everyone about road trips and learn as much as possible before your travels.
Don't get discouraged.
Take MORE MONEY so you don't have to search during.
If you're going to a coin counter have a ballpark figure.
Driving and looking at coins may be slow, but it keeps me from tickets

The take:
1 Ben Franklin
1 64 Kennedy
11 40% including one good looking 67
3 proofs
1 silver quarter, found in teller tray...I asked for the one at midway between, the silver one, and the nice teller gave er away.
2 NIFC
1 SB Anthony (not great but love finding them in rolls of halves)

Can't wait until the next road trip, but this evening was disheartening as I pulled all that today and left the day with an unopened box of halves and 290 loose.....ALL SKUNK!!!!

Good luck, gotta hit the sack for drill tomorrow.

LT Dan, outtttttttttt...................

Pics are of the take and of my proofs, hopefully they turn out well ???

Very nice Dan! I see you're from Indy. Hope you're not getting my dumps from up north that may make their way to Indy.
