Hello SE Michigan here.

Friday about 2 weeks ago a park cop politely asked me not to hunt this spot.

About a week and 2 days later I called the park superintendent who said it was ok.

This monday I found a 46' and a 64' rosie.

Tuesday I found a 1954 quarter.

Wednesday only a wheat.

Thursday I found another 46' rosie.

And today I found a 1917 merc, a 46' rosie, and a 1943 wash. quarter.

It was sweet, my first signal was a nickle pulltab, I dug a pulltab( not a pony),

My next signal was silver, I dug a horseshoe, peeled it back, and it was infinitely eyeballable

on top of the bottom of the plug.Today was a good day, as was this week.

I still need to work on my photography , those rosies get too shiny.

I haven't cleaned the washingtons cause i like them like that. The rosies clean up

nice with a little baking soda and water rubbed with thumb and finger.

The mercury, my first merc, I haven't decided what to do withit yet, the date is very

clear, cant make out the back at all, can read the word LIBERTY, but it is one

thin dime.

Good luck, and HH.

Well, thank you, x terra70, I used the paint to resize the image, but I didnt know you could
do that, will figure it out after my next finds and subsequent posts, thank you, good luck, and
Happy Hunting.

No wonder your finding all that silver. The cop has chased everyone away and now your getting it all.

Congrats on the merc........but please don't baking soda it! Grab a plastic bowl, throw two or three spoons of salt, fold over a wad of aluminum paper and stick the merc inside. Pull it out once in a while and go over it with some tissue.

Way to go . Nice coins.
Dman

Thank you Rodger.

Actually there is truth to that, it is a swimming pool area( I have a permit that says
no detecting at pool areas), but it is closed down and soon to be demolished.
I will hover like a vulture hoping the domolishion opens up area's , like under sidewalks,
that are currently unavailable.

Good luck,
HH.

Thankyou Bilzo, Ricardo, and Dman.

Ricardo, thank you for your advice on cleaning up, I assume that water is included( and understood) in your ingrediants. Might try it first with my 46' that didn't clean up as nicely
as my others.

Good luck,
HH.

Thank you Denver,Detecting Freak, Washingtonian(been reading your posts cool!)

HH.
