someone dummping rolls state quarters - worth getting them

someone at my CU was dumping $100 worth of P&D mint state quarter rolls.

The lady at the desk (next to the counter machine) picked them up for people wanting change,
Should I go back and pick up some for face value?

She also had some small burlap bags with quarters in them which were dumped.

I'm certainly no state quarter expert, but I believe that I have read on this forum that certain states bring a higher premium than others, and therefore might be worth checking into.

What I would do is to check ebay to see what they were selling for. If I deemed it was enough to make it worthwhile, I would go get them.

Check eBay ... I made about $50/roll in '99 when they first came out! Different market now tho.

I bought a bunch, and sold them to a local coin store for like $11 a roll? Made like $40 bucks. Free money!

A bank I goto had a guy dump the contents of velvet bags into the coin machine. Come to find out they were clad proofs along with silver proofs. I bought all they had. Silver for me and since dad collects the state quarters, I saved the clad for him.
