Something Old...Something New

[Old_Okie]

Stopped at my favorite tot lot after work and my first signal was one of the new Presidential Dollar coins! My first, James Madison. After finding a bit more clad, the gentleman who lives across the street came over to ask how I was doing, and found that we knew each other. He had his garden spot tilled, so I asked if I might hunt it and he said come on. Found mostly mangled scrap, but just before leaving got an Okla. 1 Mill tax token in pretty good shape. Not a bad hour.

Sorry, was going to post pictures but can't seem to figure out how to get them small enough.

You had fun and you did what you enjoy doing so it was a great day.

I love those new dollars coins too Okie! In fact, any dollar coin! Keeps me from having to dig up 100 pennies! Congrats on a neat find! Continued good luck.

Last year I found a Sacka . . . Sockage . . . Sackajewi. . . Dollar Coin with the Indian lady & kid on it.

Looked like a big cent.
