south beach low on goodies

hooked up w another gent out of orlando area.johnmarkham for a full day of detecting.

he is a true gentleman and enjoyed meeting, as well as a good hunter.

actually we were a couple hours at deerfield/hillsboro area the previous day

but he said " nice of you to have me here AFTER u have cleaned it out"

and it was pretty bare 3 other detectorists were pounding the beach.

thursday we headed to miami beach

go in at 21st street. very slow. 4hours in the water prod 7 pennies for me.plus much junk

couldnt find any heavies. waist to armpit deep 2 hours of only 4 targets all junk.

finally we switched to the dry last 2 hours and managed to scrape

up a couple bucks each.

each day at the beach is never a waste. learned a lot about parking there.

enjoyed the bikinis and a few mono kinis

i guess we waiting for a more festive crowd w more water activity.

these foreigns/canucks dont seem to lose much

saw nothing that remotely resembled jewelry that wasnt attached to someone.

john had a myseterious beach find. if he dont post on it i will later

Don't worry, Hollywood beach and Dania Beach aren't producing any better. I did find a couple junk pieces and one earring 14k but that's it besides many many beer caps and tent stakes in the dry, I musta found a dozen of them. Pics not worth posting. I did find a big iron whatsit that i'll post later.
