I've noticed several new members from my area here. In case you were interested in joining a metal detecting club, there is one local here. The meetings are the first Monday of every month. They are held at the David Park Community Center located at 108 n. 33 ct. in Hollywood. That's just west of Park road on the north side of Hollywood Blvd, in between the courthouse and the police station which is on the south side of the road.

Yes they still meeting, I just got an email from the president of the Club Steve Hamedl.

I will like to join the club but unfortunately I work at night so I can´t assist the meetings though.
