southern ill, anybody out here

has anybody found much in so. Ill just wondering I'm head down to Salem Ill, there is a very old park there that goes back to about 1860's
my grandfather has an old farm there and from what i here from the family he would bury things out there so between the park and farm hoping pull some nice finds, my grand father didn't trust the banks, he has past now and think its time to go look. thanks all

Since you seem determined to share your finds with us... how about a picture? I wouldn't mind seeing what a jar full of old silver coins looks like. What kind of coins are in the jar anyway? Were there any key date coins in there? HH!
