Looking at a cheaper sovereign elite but the rechargeable battery pack doesn't work . Just wondering if you can use normal batteries in the sovereign's, or do I have to find a new charger pack?

You can use regular batteries as the rechargeables are an extra selling point.

Ok so I don't have to buy anything extra to use normal alkaline batteries for the elite?

He says the charger doesn't work so do I need to get a battery holder?

I mean the charger battery pack doesn't work.

yes on the Battery Holder, You would need a Battery Pack that accepts AA Batterys

Here is what your AA battery pack looks like for the Sovereign…mgL3qBw9X5EZqz_c8rnd5PA.webp….mf85R60kQitHym0duCYDWXw.webp

I have the AA battery pack only. I use eneloop rechargeable batteries. I bought 16 batteries so that I always have a back up when one set dies. The sovereign takes 8 AA. Regular batteries last a lot longer than rechargeables but they will cost more in the long run. Make sure if you buy rechargeable ones that they are good ones that are strong. Eneloops can be recharged 1500 times.

I assumed you had the regular battery pak too.
