SoWeGa shell fossil

[kinchafoonee]

All my artifacts were found legally on private land with owners permission.
Personal find. Spear with shell fragment fossil. Wonder what ancient maker thought of fossil.

Is it a type of Coral?

Nice ones gatorboy

[GatorBoy]

I really wonder what was thought about these.
Like with most things beyond present understanding they were probably considered magical or from a higher power.
Which in my eyes is pretty much the truth...long-term.

I have a full-groved axehead with a large Brachiopod on the butt of it. I'll post some pics of it.

Looking forward to that one!
