They are not due to return till Feb 2025.

SpaceX launches rescue mission to return stranded astronauts

A SpaceX rocket soared into the sky Saturday with two passengers on board, leaving two seats empty to return American astronauts who have been stranded for months on the International Space Station, NASA said.

I guess by then they can have More Astronauts stranded up there

That is the schedule already established by NASA, the two astronauts that went up were not just pilots, they are on a 5 month mission to space station, instead of 4 going up only 2 went up so there would be room for 4 to return including the 2 stranded passengers.
