That coin is in immaculate shape for being over 300 years old... It's obviously a fake... It doesn't take a expert to figure that out

The weight is also off the 8 real should weigh 27.7 grams, even the gold 8 Escudos of the period should weigh 27.7 grams. Sorry to say but I think this is a modern reproduction of an 8 real made to look like a gold coin

The condition has nothing to do with it other than maybe making a person form an opinion at first glance.... there's plenty of high grade 300 year old coins that exist. It's fake because it's fake.
