Found a few keepers tonight at a quick hunt at my 1764 1 real site. 1773 Half Real thats seen better days. Almost looks like it was run over repeatedly on a cart path. Got several like this. Ive found a lot of poor condition milled Spanish over the years thus why I was so stoked when I got that 1764 Real here last month

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Still getting it done! Congratulations!!!

The east coast has the most. Nice find! Gary

4 is good already, it would be nice to keep that rate up all year!

Nice find.
You're filling up your milled Spanish piggy bank pretty quickly.

A great find !

Four Spanish silvers FTY....is simply amazing. You deserve much credit for your efforts toasted. I like the idea of a Spanish piggy bank. It would need to be a pretty big one to hold all that loot!

Congrats on #4 of the season-impressive total already.
I got a 1740 1/2 back some 18 months ago, my first one-as they seem to as rare as hens teeth up in my parts.

Would be nice but I dont see that happening. 1 or 2 a year is more the norm

Thanks. I dont think Ive ever found more than 2 in a year before I started water hunting so 4 from land in a year is my personal best
Can you discern the mint mark?
What does the reverse side look like?

Don......
Reverse is pretty toasted but I can see Mexico City mintmark which they usually are on these

Ive found around 20 cobs and 10 milled half reales accounting for the bulk of my Spanish silver

Spanish silver is always cool- Congrats!

Congrats, Toasted. Any Reale is a good Reale.

You are a lucky duck!
