Four Spanish silvers FTY....is simply amazing. You deserve much credit for your efforts toasted. I like the idea of a Spanish piggy bank. It would need to be a pretty big one to hold all that loot!

Congrats on #4 of the season-impressive total already.
I got a 1740 1/2 back some 18 months ago, my first one-as they seem to as rare as hens teeth up in my parts.

Would be nice but I dont see that happening. 1 or 2 a year is more the norm

Thanks. I dont think Ive ever found more than 2 in a year before I started water hunting so 4 from land in a year is my personal best
Can you discern the mint mark?
What does the reverse side look like?

Reverse is pretty toasted but I can see Mexico City mintmark which they usually are on these

Ive found around 20 cobs and 10 milled half reales accounting for the bulk of my Spanish silver
