🥇 BANNER Spanish gold

[jefg231]

2015 was a good year. For life and for treasures. While many hunger and thirst, we have the luxury to hunt down treasures.
I am lucky enough to have great digging buddies. How fun would it be to treasure hunt alone?
I started the year (Jan 6) with a 1848 Mechanic and ended it today with a 1744 Spanish cobb.
Life is good.

Both of those finds are banners in my opinion. Do you have any more pics of the slave tag?

[jefg231]

Thanks. The slave tag is being restored. I will post a new pic when I get it back.

So...
I have to ask...
What is the "deal"... If any... with the "perm" on finds ?

Excellent story, amazing coin, no brainer banner, but can you explain the sort of land 'site' that a Spanish Gold Coin can pop up from? (early settlement, Inn, Market)

That is one beautiful find! I'm still looking on the Treasure Coast here and hope that will be me one of these days! Congrats to you!! Outstanding,

It doesn't get any better than that.

What a beautiful piece of gold

Whoa! That is truly incredible. Great story and great recovery

With the exception of digging a coin that is historically significant, extremely rare and very valuable, I personally don't see digging a coin getting any better. For looks alone it does get no better! Definitely one of the best coins ever posted.

Well said. For me, I could quit digging with that coin - it couldn't get any better!

Very nice. I always say any gold coin found with a metal detector deserves BANNER. My vote is in.

This type of find is almost unheard of, simply amazing. I also appreciate the humble and eloquent words you chose in describing your discovery.

I know what you mean, but in detecting there IS ALWAYS better.
