Spanish Silver Drought is OVER!!!

I was out for a couple hours this evening to a site that I have been detecting for all of my 12 years with a detector. I've pounded this site as have many others but it is a huge site and is plowed almost every year.

After wandering around for the first 90 minutes picking up odds and sods I got a nice 81 hit on the AT Pro. 81 is usually a semi-modern penny so I wasn't really hopeful digging the plug. After I opened the hole the 81 became a solid 84 and I knew it wasn't a penny...sure enough I could see a glint of silver and popped out a 1778 1 Reale!

I could not be happier...it's been a couple years since my last Spanish silver so this really made my day!

Congrats on breaking your Spanish silver drought. I dug one in March of 2015 and hadn't dug another until I dug the cob last month. Kind of a mini drought for me. I also like that flower button you dug.
