Considering White's uncertain business status since they've shut down the Equinox 800 would be the safer choice. I've seen a number of V3i users switch to the Equinox.

Personally I'd like to have a V3i. It seems to be a machine that can be configured and experimented with a number of ways.

Well thank you for that information. I did not know White's had shut down. Nox 800 it is.

With White's closing up shop the NOX 800 would be a good choice. If you could get a V3i for cheap, like I did that may be an option. I believe they are still repairing White's detectors in their repair facility in the Eastern part of the country; not sure of the state.
