✅ SOLVED Spoon for?

After a busy summer got in the river today, usually just pocket change pop tops. Today I found this odd spoon buried deep. It has a raised point in the center of the bowl and seems hand made because of the unsemetrical shape and has no markings at all. I think it was gold plated at one time. Any ideas on use and vintage greatly appreciated. Thank yoi

The bowl shape leads me to think it may have been designed for a specific measurement.
You may use various measuring spoons and some salt to see if it holds an exact amount, such as 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, etc.
The handle is ornate, so I’m thinking apothecary or cooking. Apothecary would use different measuring sizes, in most likelihood. Good luck.
