Stagecoach Routes Maps?

Hey folks, I believe that this was covered about 14 years ago, but I can't get any current info (the one link on that post leads to a 'dead' page now). Can anyone on here tell me where I can find maps of the old stage routes, that shows stops and/or way-stations (terminology?) so I can see if there was any activity nearby?
I'm looking for any info that might lead to getting permissions, whether it would be for stages, or anything else that would have had a regular flow of people before the Civil War era.

Google overland mail stage stops and all sorts of maps will pop up with waypoints and overlays on common maps.

A stage went right by my house (my house was not there yet) in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The stop between Shelbyville and Decatur is 5 mi. from my house but the owners won't let me detect it. Gary
