Started a hopefully virgin site... Lots of pics

Went to a farm I have been trying to get into today. Dates to about 1890's I think. Trying to get permission for a couple friends as well. Hang tight guys......

Found a 1918 Merc, Button, tiny padlock. No date Buffalo, 5 weaties oldest being 1916. Pretty big sterling braclet. Aslo found a wierd piece that seems to have a couple solders holding flags? Harmonica reeds and such.

Locks are really lockable and that Merc's a cool way to fly!

I found a 1925 Mercury (no mint) in an old man's yard this morning. It was only one of 5 coins I found which included 2 wheats, and two memorials! I offered it to the man and "he took it!" It was pristine too! I need to work on keeping my trapper closed; may I borrow that lock?

I think it is Doug. I remember a few like that being posted here. But never one quite as nice as that one. Nice find baspinall!!

Anyone have info on the "maybe" police button? It made by Waterbury Button Company, Conn. I've been looking....

Hey B! Cool hunt bud! I have the same problem as you. Since the properties I have done are friends, I don't mind. I figure if someone is nice enough to let you play in their yard and dig a few holes, they are welcome to whatever they want. I just like to MD. Congrats on your finds!

DFX is back up and running. Funny story. The toggle switch broke. I ordered one and the company sent a bullsye pinpointer togle switch. Same dang switch but the pigtail wire is to short and the switch arm is a little shorter. Soldered new wires and installed. Good to go

Congrats on the MERC and the Police Button! Also the lock is really cool, did you find it unlocked? Anyone know if there is an significance to the heart shape of the lock or is it just a nice design?
