Starting Back on Halves - previous skunk streak = 50

With receiving 13 of 16 boxes of new 2001 dimes and also having some finds in a random half box pick up, I decided to try my hand at halves again. I was searching them regularly until February when my skunk streak hit 50.

Just picked up 9 boxes today and will have another 6 on Friday. I do not have any expectations of finding any, but the hope is still there. I decided to order all halves for 3 weeks and see how it turns out. I will keep you posted.

Do you spread out your pickup banks to try and draw from different sources? I pickup from 6-8 different banks a week, this way if 1 bank is full of skunks I can still be hopeful with another banks source...

I regularly get boxes from Dunbar, Garda and Loomis and rarely are all of them bad.

I live near a big city and have picked up from over 30 banks in and around the city and every one of them have the same boxes, right down to the same codes on the box. I would love to be able to have different sources but it does not matter what bank I pick up from here.

The one good sign is 2 different tellers have told me no one is coming in for halves anymore. Before, they said there were 3-4 people who regularly ordered every week. Guess they had same results as I was getting.
