So i was hunting this spot this morning in Stafford.. I parked my truck and got out and noticed something behind this oak tree, it was 5 big plastic boxes. I opened one of them and they were all stacked with cases of beer. I think some teenagers hid them.. so I loaded them in the truck and got out of there. Probably $120 worth of beer. Why else would someone hide beer like that if it wasn't a bunch of teenagers? did I do the right thing in taking them? cause they sure do taste refreshing :D

Also to note the land-owner has given me permission to hunt this property since i was in diapers and i know no 85 year old lady is gonna be hiding beer like that unless she is playing a joke with me.

It could have been stolen...?

I think you should have a metal detecting party and should make the evidence disappear..:laughing7:

Hey you found your wheat like so many of us hunt for , just in a different form.
What to do , thats a no brainer ; start drinking.

In another State there was an artisan well with very cold water and a large stash of all kinds of alcohol. I didn't know why the stash was there for years when I was told of meetings held at a house near by. The guy that showed me the stash said never take more than one. I wasn't going to take any as that might be grounds for getting shot. Plus pitch dark in the middle of a deep forest. I left the stash for him.
It did teach me about human nature though. Few people can keep a secret.

Free beer always tastes great. You did the right thing. It prevented a possible underage drinking party and possibly kept the teens from getting arrested. You are a civic hero! Open a cold one and savory the status.

ATP had something to get excited about!...lol8-)

Ohhhhhh, beer taste much better when you have friends over for laughs !!!! HELLO FRIEND !
It had to be stolen or for under-age drinkers or why in the h&ll would it be hid there. You did justice by removing it so it wouldn't get into the wrong hands :laughing7: or look at it this way..... some folks think beer is trash, so you removed the "trash" !

You mean you didn't see the FBI warning about the terrorist hiding the beer with a germ in it that suddenly kills you without warning in one week? Frank...

You need to have a TNET party to help you drink that beer! :occasion14:

I went out deer hunting once and came out of the woods with a case of molsen golden.:laughing7:

Poor kids. Now they gotta steal more.

My dear sir, I must insist you do a quality control check instantly if not sooner! & if it is local hooligans that have stowed their misbegotten beverage, then you are doing them a service. Enjoy the spoils.

I'd have done the same thing. In fact, I have on two occasions. Though the first incedent was way stale canned Genny and I'd have better left it. The second was eight six packs floating in Cayuga Lake. Coors Light, but if you didn't compare it to beer it was OK. Turns out a well stocked powerboat had capsized. They had obviously had enough and our jetty (sailors) celebrated the salvage.

Long long ago and far far away a certain young man was in high school FFA. Some kids stole some beer and the student heard where they hid it in a FFA project hay stack. That kid told 2 of his 16 year old friends, and they stole the beer from the thieves, then got permission from their parents to go camping at the beach. That was the first time in my life I got drunk. Didn't drive and didn't get sick, but it was the beginning of a long, at times expensive, love affair. In my dotage I've been known to still tip the occasional cold one.

I remember me and a friend hiding a case of beer in the woods back when I was in high school. We never made it back to drink them. Years later, I went in search and they were still there. Probably still sitting there today!
