Went to an old site from the 1830s today with my uncle. To start off the day, I FOUND MY BEST SPEAR POINT EVER!! You can see directly through the flint with the light using a patch of quartz in the middle. Later my Uncle found his best point ever that had been broken and then reworked on the tip. Next i got a pewter spoon that has a day of July 5th, 1839 etched on the back along with a name (S Stalfer). Then to close out the day I found a bunch of pieces of pottery in one hole and was able to glue them back together for part of a freaking Indian bowl!! Found these on a private farm in north Florida.

Great hunt sounds like your really happy with that spear point I like it when people find stuff they really like. For me it RailRoad stuff Well done Tommy

How'd you find the points? Just random digging? Or were they lying on a gravel bar or were you sifting dirt? Awesome finds!
