Sterling ring found in woods yesterday. Has makers mark.

I recently picked up a book on old silver that has hundreds of makers marks.
But, it covers "very old silver". It's really more of a "history of silver"

I'll give it a look tomorrow and post what I see.

I checked my silver book and the hallmarks in it are all very old.

But, the above member had it right.
