Jeffy, I really hope you hit your goal....
Try following the old ladies Christmas shopping.....
It's so cold there, their old fingers will shrivel up, rings be falling of all over town......
Just gotta pinpoint in the snow, that's all....

Easy peasy-

Get a long extension cord and keep your digger wrapped up in an electric blanket.

...like a hot knife through butter.

with friends like you two, who needs the russians?

Congratulations on #12...in advance! H Digs!

I'm not sure we're counting ringworm.

I sure hope you get #12 Jeff. GL-HH

found my first ring this year and ended up with 11

I have been hoping for an even 12 ( average of one per month(( for bigwavedave)) would be nice)

so I have two weeks to get a dry thaw
may get to 40's tomorrow with rain

soooo, there is hope
Are you getting snow where you are? If so, check the big shopping center parking lots. Go to where the plows pile the snow!! Short easy hunting and you'll more than likely be amazed what you'll turn up! Up in Denver I NEVER went home empty pocketed doing this!

no big snow yet, but will try it

Ring #12 is out there, and you will find it jeff!
Dress warm!

Bring a pick ax and a propane torch to melt the frozen dirt.

Just do it. At the frozen beach, you just need a rock hammer with the pick end. By personal experience I know it works well.

just for the record, I have never been to a frozen beach and do not plan to be

got out some the last two days, it being about 40*

tomorrow supposed to be in the 50's so I hope for more than the clad so far
