Stone Age Axe Field - Day 1 & 2...

Old Permission - Field 3 - Day 6 - Stone Age Hand Axe, Roman Silver & More...

Started the day off with a bucket lister find! I locked my bike on the edge of the field, did 2 steps in & spotted a Stone Hand Axe! Westfront finds these, but this is my first one. I'm not even sure if its Mesolithic (would be my oldest ever find) or Neolithic? It looks similar to this one...

I've returned to the above field to carry on the grid from last year. I plan on covering the whole field. Its not in the best condition with 10" high bean stalks but it should be cultivated soon.
Had a silver on each 2 hour hunt, so happy enough until something better comes along.
Some unknown Roman Artifact, that might be Military.
