Stone artifact w/ tapered hole on both sides?

The hole tappers to a hole the same diameter on both sides of stone. Also, looks as if the hole is also an eye on one side of some type of animal.

What do the experts and experienced think?

probably just a rock, but it could have been used as a weight of some sort....
