Stone axe head or just a rock?

[jcono]

Hello, I didn't actually find this, but it is for sale near me. It does look like an axe head, albeit a very old/ worn down one... what do you think? It's about 9.5" long.
Would something like this have any value? Any way to tell what era or area it's from?

Thanks,
J.

Looks natural to me. No sign it was fashioned for a purpose.

Naturally made rock.

It's at a local estate auction. I think bidding is at about $20 so far..

Thanks for the replies. Yea, I figured it was just a rock...

Goes to show you that folks will buy anything at a sale.

Hey, for $20 it would make for an interesting doorstop.
