Right now, if i squint real hard, all i can make out is "Joanie Loves Chachi"

Ok, just my opinion here......At first it looks like something is carved into the rock, then when I open the picture up, it looks natural. So IMHO right now it's a natural occurring scoring on the rock.

I'm sure those much smarter than me will be around later and add their opinions on this.

The rock could have been used as a marker. Maybe something is buried nearby.

There is 2 foot depression in the ground near with 2 trees growing into it that are easily 100 years old at least, Silver Targets under the rock but still not acquired after digging a foot under, also looks like a old trail running thru right by the rock, and a 5 foot mound on the other side of the tree!! It's an area that has very large trees that were saved from farmers because it is next to a creek branch. Sorry for the rambling I took medicine for my Wisdom teeth Surgery 15 minutes ago. Any help is appreciated!! I'll get more photos when I'm able

If you don't pursue this it will haunt you later on in life. I have two targets that I walked away from (one of which was due to an impatient fellow digger) that haunt me to this day.
