That is a nice looking jug.

It seems like the local collectors are most often the most knowledgeable about the jugs, and the relative rarity of any particular example on the market.

Here is a little information I found on the net about a bottle show in Alabama and hosted by the Alabama Bottle Collectors club. The information also includes a contact e-mail address and a couple of phone numbers which may be worth trying.

JULY 24 & 25, 2009 - BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA
The Alabama Bottle Collectors, LLC Show & Sale, (Friday - early bird $25 4pm - 8pm, Saturday - public 8am - 3pm), at the Bessemer Civic Center, Exit #108 off Interstate 20/59, Bessemer (Birmingham), AL. Info: TOM LINES, PO Box 382831, Birmingham, AL 35238, PH: (205) 987-0650 or (205) 410-2191 (days), E-mail: bluecrab1949@hotmail.com
