It's a sequential sampling impulse GPR system with crude bow-tie antennas. The trouble with this unit as well as the German system is that they attempt to "dumb-down" the data so much in their 3D view that the subtle signatures of targets are often so obscured as to make them invisible. However, at 7000 EUR, is it better than nothing.
Better yet, find someone who is selling a Mala EasyCart system (e.g. on eBay often) for the similar cost. This is would provide much more meaningful results.
For what it's worth, we have tested the German system against Sensors and Software, Mala and GSSI equipment, and there is no comparison. The German unit barely can call itself a GPR, and relies on the ignorance of the user to highlight only the most obvious targets.
