You’re absolutely right about that. This is exactly what always happens when video evidence gets posted in these threads—it devolves into the same mess every single time.

So let me ask the question… why?

Is it because what I’m showing isn’t true?
Is it because people have something against me?
Are they just flat-out prejudiced?

Or is the real problem that some of you just refuse to accept what’s right in front of you?

Do you actually disagree with the video evidence I showed on the AQ Pulse? Or am I supposed to ignore what I can clearly see on camera and just take your word for it because you can type a response?

This isn’t new either. This has happened on just about every post I’ve ever made. And I’ll tell you who else it happens to—TN Sharpshooter. Same exact pattern.

So what’s the common denominator?

You’ve got two Southern guys with a slower accent, putting out actual video evidence, and instead of discussing the data, it immediately turns into:

• “You’re stupid”
• “You’re an idiot”
• “You faked it”
• “You staged it”
• “I don’t believe it”

Even when it’s all right there on video.

So again—what’s really going on here?

Because at some point, you have to ask… am I the problem?

Or is it the forums?

I mean he chaps a lot of hides but what the heck?

I do wish people would start writing up their experiences between comparing different units instead of just posting a link to a video

Isn't this what forums are for anyway....open discussion and sharing thoughts between different units to forum members?

This used to be my favorite part of any forum ever...here in the head to head comparison room of the forum

Now it has all but dried up....I hate it has gone that way.

Yes, sharing what you may experience with a given detector and doing head-to-head comparison is fun and interesting.
It is also important to find out the limitations of your detector on a given type of ground conditions.

People use traditional forums to drive traffic to their monetized social media sites. Many will post inflamatory material to drive up interactions. The internet is also difficult for some people to communicate through and the may appear vastly different than in real life. I rarely follow links anymore, I'll just search on my own.
I also prefer written reports and reviews. My time is worth far more than their social media monetization schemes.
