Hello! Can anyone help me identify what is going on here with this Walking Liberty Half Dollar? I used my digital microscope to get a little closer to the coin so that I could see if the "markings" clearly spelled something out but I just cant tell if or what it says. Can anyone help? have you ever seen this before? Do you think its a double die offset or other possible solutions?
To the eye the "I" in America on the back of the coin looks like a Y or like it has horns and tail... The "C" in America on the rear of the coin looks like a d.
