Strange nickel

"Found" this today in my change. Anyone have any ideas?

The "ring" around the nickel is unbroken and the same color as the nickel. I have never seen anything like this.

Pentico....Be sure to use a silver quarter...'64 or b4...My son made one that looked real good..he used a modern one and when he wore it...after awhile it left a ring on his finger...guess it was the copper in it.BTW..I am getting better at it..lol

Okay here is about 3 hours of work.
The wife thinks I have fallen off the mountain again with head injury's.
I did learn a thing or two while doing this.
I might take my time this weekend and see if I could get one to come out better.
Morgan Dollars don't have to worry about me making them into a ring just yet.
I should have done as I was told in the last post and used a silver quarter, but I fell off the mountain remember?
I am going to try a dime. lol

It is really cool and kind of fun to make them.
Time and practice will get the wife a cool ring.
Then we will see who fell off the mountain. LMAO!
