Strange noise/buzz during charge - HELP

Hello,

I just bought my first metal detector. A Minelab Sovereign GT‏.

Today the battery is taking the first charge, but while charging is doing a strange noise/buzz..

Is that normal?

Pedroe the buzzing sound is perfectly normal. The battery will get pretty warm also. Good luck with your machine. It's a deep seeking, fun and easy machine to use. If you are planning in using it on land/ dry sand beach I would buy a Ron's 180 meter or one similar. They are very accurate and can be found online for 50-$75. Also the 13" Ultimate is a great coil on the Sovereign GT beaches and fields.
