Well, it gave me a ring. a HUGE iron ring! ;)

And this little black piece of something. (At least it identified itself when I got home and rinsed it off. Lots of patent numbers! :)

Then there was this hook looking thing.

And, a tiny little, non-magnetic metal cube. :dontknow:

The strangest was the crescent looking thingy that is a full half pound of lead! (Love to see the tire it balanced! LOL )

I thought that the little earring was going to be a little piece of a gold, saving the day. But, no, just costume jewelery. :dontknow:

Still, a very interesting day.

Thanks for peeking!

HH!

oops, I meant "I like the SAND DOLLAR earring", not starfish! I've been spending so much time at beach recently that it all flows & spashes together in my brain. Andi

That "patent" item looks like a man hole cover that's broken up.

The Patent item is from a windshield cover. The first patent goes back to about 1925 The patent 1522344 is the one I am talking about. So this has to fit onto a car windshield cleaner system.

Yep, my initial research turned up something to do with a power fluid washer motor or some such.

Thanks!

I sympathize and IDENTIFY! LOL

Just wish it had been real gold. It was an interesting hit. Nowdays I try to verbally identify each hit before I dig. This one was a clear 53-54 hit on the PRO. I said, pulltab, but, maybe a nickel. I was a bit surprised it was neither. :)
