Cold and windy at one of Baltimore's old parks today with fellow detectorist, AB, We hammered away just waiting for those sweet tones to bring anything but pull tabs, bottle caps or square nails. We got some keepers. I had some late in the hunt finds that included a Roosevelt dime and a stout flat button that took a 180 degree turn along the way. My third consecutive visit to this park with silver to show for it.

Thanks ATW! Retirement has provided more detecting time. Happy hunting.

Thanks Randy! It was sort of an endurance test that paid off in the end.

Thanks Whyme! I do like that button. Looks like it has 5 stars as a backmark. Very think brass, I think, and plain on the front.

Thanks Silvermonkey! That's my 3rd Rosie of 2019, two from the city and one from the county.

That's right, Doc! Silver is the like the payoff to all that swinging.

Thanks BLK HOLE! We had a good time out there....a little snow cover to start but halfway through it was mostly gone.

Thanks Hawks88! My hunting partner suggested we end the day's work by searching near some old trees and that's when I got the silver, the wheat and the button.

Thanks Professor! Digging here in Baltimore has been on a 95% uptime with the ground temps....not much freezing to deal with.
