With all the heat I decided to go somewhere where the water table was a bit higher.
I was not even going to attempt to cut into dry grass and leave an area full of potholes.
~Never a good idea!~ :lightbulb:

So, I knew of this place that was semi-shaded, and had a nice stream aside it.
Sort of a grove, but more a picnic area for those wanting to use the stream close by.
The grass was green and when I slammed the Lesche it sunk in fairly easily--well easy enough.

I gave it a go and came with some quarters and a silver ring.

Needless to say I guess I am back into detecting. Going out a bit more regularly now.
Hopefully, will find some more in the next couple weeks.
Let's do a rain dance!

Great hunt, CoilFisher, Your silver ring looks surprisingly like the one I found a few days ago, that turned out to be a half dollar coin ring. What does the inside of your ring look like? Sub 8-)

Your a true MD'er, always thinking of where to dig, depending on the soil condition. You represent us nicely. :notworthy: Looks like you dug plenty of targets. Welcome back to the obsession.
