Found this marked .925 sterling silver ring with what appears to be an emerald stone. I have tried putting the ring in a foil container with boiling water and baking soda, but the ring is still dark in most areas. Any suggestions?

Bakin Soda?..thats how i clean my junk silver coins
 
After baking soda and water and hand cleaning.
