Hello,

Can you help me identify this item? Any suggestions or thoughts as to what it might be would be much appreciated!!
I found this item at an old school house. I have no idea whatsoever what it may be. The silver colored coating appears to flake off. The item is non-magnetic and weighs 0.058 lbs. IMG_0868.JPG IMG_0866.JPG

Welcome to Tnet, Lilly. I'm going with ARRC, could be a Christmas ornament. Do you have an idea of when the school was in operation?

Looks like pot metal... Are thos solder marks on the edge? Maybe where a pin was attached for a brooch?

I will admit "christmas decoration" was my first thought as well...

Ken Stein, the school was in operation from the early 1900s and closed in the 1940s. Since then, the facility has been used for a number of different events.
I wish there was a marking of some kind so that I could determine the year it was hand crafted. I'm not sure if it was actually pre-1940s or if it just fell off of the decorations sometime after that when facility was being used.
