i did a little research! they call it a bun head! and i didnt relize there is a light house on the bottom left and a sailing ship on the bottom right. its made out of bronze. it might be why the conditions so good. willy

That's a plus point of detecting, the continuous research before & after finding :headbang: Yes it bronze which does generally hold up better. They also call it a 'Young' head, later was the Jubilee & Old (veiled head).
 

Nice dig! She held up good for all those years in the ground. :icon_thumright:
