Since I have the mayor's permission to hunt the public areas of a town, I was undecided where to start hunting first. I drove over to the Kiwanis Park, I was finding clad all over the front of the building, wandering towards the back side to the baseball field; a baseball practice was going on so I headed in the other direction. This is the area where the swimming pool was located and had been filled in and turned into a butterfly garden. Near the sidewalk I found the praying hands charm and the beads. Near one of the large oak trees I found my 1st key. It was threatening to rain and the mosquitoes were having a tasty meal on me, so I called it quits at that location. Drove over to check on the church, that I have been keeping tabs on; looks like some renovation going on. No information, but I did find it on the Sanborn 1908 map. It was already sprinkling so I snapped a pic and then at the house across the street. I had a good outing even if I didn't find anything worthwhile. My clad paid for my soft drink.
