Sunday on the river Thames

Hello after an epic day i managed to clean the finds tonight .Went out Sunday on a new spot with a friend of mine in his 70s near a very very old Church which as been there this the dawn of time anyway ,machines (laser scout)struggled from the start they were no way we could have find anything with the detector so we decided to scrape with our rakes.I got a mini one so i was on my knee pads and managed 2 coins (French) a musket ball and few copper nails nothing top but we had fun and good chat

You just have to love what Old Father Thames has to give up. Nice bit of staffordshire slipware in there and is that a piece of AA shrapnel at 6 O'clock just above the coin ? Is this from the "Sarf" of the river ?

Yes shrapnells were eyes only like the rest no scraping spotted them has the tide was coming up
