A chilly one out in the fields today, but still dry so easy digging.

picture 1…. No idea! Another Fibula brooch, and bit of a knife blade, buckle with strap still attached, some little things! 2 coins, both toasted, but small one possibly a Roman, and a Jetton. Buttons, lead bits, pot mends, various broken buckle bits and a strange bit of green glass, looks black without light. Oh nd some pretty flowers in the garden, Spring is definitely in the air here in England 😆 xx

picture 1 - I have no idea either, whats the reverse look like?

Another bronze age rare blade. seems you have a fair amount of early activity.

The little buckle with the straps attached possibly could date from the 13th-14th C xx

Sent picture to FLO, who believes it could be A post-Medieval knife stop/end-cap (Circa 1500-1600)

Link to similar one….

Sorry, totally disagree with that assessment. Found tons of different types of those knife terminals & this has none of those characteristics. Others than showing it attached to iron, which is more similar to a shield decoration than a knife which slotted in 1 end & not attached by the riveting to a sheet of iron.
