Today they're forecasting high of 23, snow showers, and thunder possible. (I don't know how that could be.) I have finally figured out how they forecast snowfall up here. When the weather service says 'accumulations of less than one inch', that means 4 inches. When the resorts say '18 inches of fresh powder overnight!' that means 4 inches. Take care, and don't slip and fall.
All we had here over the weekend were EF-3 tornadoes! This, after a wind shear hit three weeks ago doing over $20,000,000 in uninsured damages.
I seen that once here in mid Mo. in mid 1980's one night. About 8 in. snow and lots lightening and thunder....weird!Yeah Cantore's been up here a few times. I just really don't see any thunder snow here today. I have seen thunder snow with lightning in Oklahoma before.
