🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Suspender Buckle or Not?

[Red River Campaign 1864]

Dug this piece of brass the other day at a Civil War battle-site/ plantation in Northwest Louisiana! At first I was thinking a suspender hook of some sort but can't find anything close with the same type of way it would of connected to the suspender material! A little larger than most I've dug over the years! Any educated guess are greatly appreciated!

Looking like a suspender buckle for me also.

Yes, it's a suspender buckle. It looks like one from the mid 1890's up to the 1920's. Good little find.
