I was actually just joking around with my dad the other day how the "redneck" has got to be the most discriminated group in the country. Im actually not joking, this is a serious comment. From tv shows, movies, ads, etc. I could not even imagine someone portraying blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc in a similar way as they do the redneck?? I'm surprised some southern governor etc hasn't made a big stink about it. Maybe they should be a "protected population" under the affirmative action laws ? Really makes most southerners look like a bunch of idiots. And yes I'm a New England Yankee from Massachusetts but even I noticed it. Didn't know they had a word for it - hixploitation - learn something new everyday. Curious if others have seen the same thing.
ya know... for that reason alone, I gotta respect the real Redneck.
at least they claim to be "Happier than a dead pig in the sunshine" ?

& don't go hiding in a corner, or crying for special rights

I still think this show with all the colorful language they use for it is
completely scripted from opening credits to end credits.
