Sweet Lil Point

Here's a sweet lil point I found. I found it in Union Co., NC, near SC. It reminds me of a Savannah River bird point maybe? It must be a semi-translucent chert material, b/c it's not rhyolite. I have not collected a material like it before. This point is one of a kind in my collection. It may be small but I definitely see a lot of character. It is perfect, sweeter than a glass of sweet tea! 8-)

Nice little chert point it looks like a Jude.
 

A very fine point, it may be small but it is fine, a great find for sure.:thumbsup:

If it is a Jude it is archaic and probably an atlatl dart.

I'm guessing the age may be middle - late archaic. Whatever the type really is, it is a sweetie. That tip is like a needle.
